The Motley Hotel: From Local Favourite to Global Acquisition
The Challenge
The Motley was full of personality—but none of it came through online. In a crowded boutique hotel market, it lacked a distinct brand voice, relied too heavily on OTAs, and wasn’t leveraging its standout F&B offerings to drive direct revenue. Ms Parker and Threads Rooftop were underutilised, with no cohesive narrative tying them back to the hotel experience. Our job was to shift the story and the strategy—building a brand from the ground up, dialling up direct bookings, and turning its venues into destinations in their own right.
